Since when was prom moved up to this weekend? During spring break, too, huh. I guess I'll have to get all my shopping done a lot sooner. Like I wasn't already going to have enough trouble sorting through dresses and shoes. Now I've got to get it all done now, bleh.

Did anyone notice the lack of prom buzz over the journals? That's strange. Everyone loves (or hates) getting all worked out over dances, parties, and all those events.

Lee, Neji. (Neji, where in the world are you? Hide and seek is getting pretty old.) We need to get together and hang out sometime, now that all of us are back in Oshima. Shooting hoops, coffee breaking, study partying -- I'm up for anything. It's been so long since I've seen either of you, I've started wondering if you're here at all.

Prom's coming up in a few weeks. Anyone up for coming with dress outfit shopping before then? I am far from being a mall rat, ha.

Geez, I haven't written in this thing in ages. I seemed to have just forgotten about it. Quite a lot's happened since I last posted too, other than three whole months passing. There was the Halloween Dance, that mind-blowing meeting, Christmas, and schoolwork in between. Thanks a lot for the presents, Ino and Shikamaru. I didn't think we knew each other well enough to warrant getting anything, but I really appreciate it.

Hope everyone's having a good holiday. I'm back home with my parents until a week after New Year's, and I'm having a good time seeing family again. I've got lots of basketball games with my cousins to catch up on. Here's to hoping my playing hadn't gotten rusty. *chuckles* See you all next year!

Well, school's back to being school. The excitement of the first day wore off the minute my first period teacher gave us a pop quiz two days after school started. Thanks for the reality check, sensei. -.-;;

I wonder what Juugo-san's been up to since I last saw him. By now he should be used to the summer Oshima weather, heh heh. Hopefully he's settled in all right.

Neji! I am so sorry I never got back to you about hanging out. Guess I got hammered with schoolwork earlier than expected. The offer still stands, though, whenever you're free or willing to put the books aside for an afternoon. Let me know, all right.

What happened after prom...I can hardly believe it. I never would've thought something like that would happen at this school. It's one of those cases where you've heard of crazy things happening in other places, and in your denial you think it'll never happen here, you know. I wonder how Zabuza-sensei's doing. The paper said if he stayed up there any longer he might've suffered brain damage, geez. Whoever did this to him must have a really serious case against him, but still. No one deserves that to happen to them.

Prom was really fun, and Obito was a great date. Did you see the outfits he sewed for us? We looked snazzy even in my tux, ha. You all should vote him King next year. He's a really nice guy and he has great fashion sense. Oh boy, but he and Lee...
Hey, Neji. I never took you as a Prom King kind of guy. Didn't think you were into that kind of thing. Congrats on the court nomination, though. ^.~ Who was that girl you were with? You two looked like you were having a good time.

I think I'll go to have myself some fun before the semester closes out. Food and dancing, I'm up to that. Of course, that also means I have to look for a dress, ugh. You know how I am with wearing dresses. I hate them. And shopping for them is a pain on me and my wallet. I should just go in a tux, ha.

Why is admission more expensive for singles? It's like they're goading you to find a date and making the single folk feel bad for being dateless. Hmm...I'll have to figure out that situation before then.

Fuh, it's been a while since I played a good game. Lee, Neji, or anyone really...we ought to get a ball game in sometime.

Speaking of being prepared, I still have papers to do and a recipie to dig up. Midterms, geez. Maybe I'll stop by that exam cram party while I have the chance.

School is school. First week back wasn't too bad, except for Kakashi-sensei's concert report. I'll do it, but writing about a concert for school sure sucks the fun out of it. I ended up in classes with people I've seen around campus but don't know too well. Sounds like a good opportunity to make some friends.
